What is the difference between a bareboat charter and a crewed yacht charter? There are several ways you can sail the Greek islands. The first way is chartering a bareboat, which means that you will have to skipper the yacht yourself without the help of a hired skipper to help you on board. Note that you will have to have one more person on your crew who is experienced,(two in total), in order to charter a yacht and be covered by the insurance. We can offer you suggested routes depending on the area you choose for vacation, and the duration. The second way of chartering a sailing yacht is a crewed charter. It could be just a skipper, or if you wish you can also hire a hostess to help with the cooking and cleaning. A crewed charter gives you more freedom and a lot less worries in ports.
